Collaboration with Dark Sky Aerial
In 2017, I was asked to audition for the Award-winning Aerial Theater company Dark Sky Aerial’s newest production. DSA commissioned two poems and two different spoken word performances for two separate scenes in their full-length ambulatory theater production called “TILT.” The poem “Worthless : Worth This” is about body-dysmorphia, cultural messages about the body, and about how these affect women in particular. The second poem, “The Masked Woman’s Words,” is about the masks we each wear daily while walking through our lives and the masks we would prefer to wear, instead. “The Masked Woman’s Words” was created using my own words interwoven with text fragments provided by advance ticket purchasers. Each poem is spoken over choreography and music to create a visceral and enlightening experience for the viewer.
The second run of “TILT” will performed by Dark Sky Aerial in the summer of 2018!
Foreword for Spirit Messages: 222 Channeled Inspirations by Shane Knox
It was such an honor to be asked by Shane Knox, Modern Shaman, to write the foreword to his book Spirit Messages: 222 Channeled Inspirations. I received another surprise when my copy of the book arrived in the mail and I found some of my words and my name on the back cover of the book! Such a delight! And, wow, what a powerful book of messages from Spirit to keep each of us uplifted on a daily (hourly!) basis.

Collaboration with Dark Sky Aerial
In 2016, I was commissioned by the aerial performance company Dark Sky Aerial to write and perform a spoken word piece called “Walking.” Choreography by Isabelle Dove-Robinson was added to the spoken word track along with music. Words and movement together became “Solicitous,” a scene in the full-length aerial theater production, “OPIA by Dark Sky Aerial.”

My story, “Finding Amrita,” was just released as part of the book Autobiography of Our Orgasms.
